Ilan Smith has spent the past 16 years in the information technology field providing solutions to business needs in the healthcare and financial industries. He started with Keane Healthcare Information Systems as an operations technician, and later moved on to Massapequa General Hospital, where he became the Director of Information Systems. He has also held various IT positions at JPMorgan Chase in New York.

Ilan has successfully delivered projects ranging from desktop restacks to floor buildouts, trading office implementations, application packaging and deployment, and acquisition integration.  He holds an undergraduate degree in Information Systems from Pace University in New York and an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix. Ilan has been granted the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification by the Project Management Institute. He has also served in various leadership roles in Toastmasters, including President of the Talk of the Towers club. His key strengths include excellent organizational and communication skills, project scheduling, stakeholder management, risk management, requirements gathering, vendor management, negotiationg, influencing, coaching, team building, and presentation skills.
